Account Executive

DESCRIPTION:

The Account Executive is responsible for working effectively with both client and internal teams to flawlessly deliver event programs that drive client results against established strategic objectives, timelines and financial goals. The Account Executive should thrive under pressure, and have a passion for event production and logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prospect New Business
  • Work with GVC designated CRM
  • Generate/Develop relationships with prospective new clients
  • Work with our internal design department to come up with a favorable booth design
  • Close Business
  • Relay booth designs/concepts to prospective clients
  • Close Business
  • Work with Sales Estimator to generate a project estimate and write a formal sales quote in Quickbooks
  • Close Business
  • Work with Post-Sale production team to ensure the GVC designated CRM is complete
QUALIFICATIONS:

Dedication to customer service with a problem-solving attitude

  • Strong sales skills, adept at securing and maintaining accounts
  • Communication skills, both with the client and internally within the office
  • Able to compose well-written quotes and product descriptions
  • Fundamental understanding of job costing
  • Can prioritize objectives and meet a demanding workload
  • Can adapt to a range of competitive sales situations
  • Willingness to put in the necessary time and effort to complete a task
  • College degree is required
  • Industry or related experience is not required, but HIGHLY valued
